Shalini Weerakkody is currently a Lecturer in Business Management at the University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka. She graduated with First Class Honors in Business Administration from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, with a GPA of 3.78. She is also pursuing an M.Sc. in Management by research at the same institution.

Weerakkody’s research interests include management practices in human resources, digital transformation, and women’s empowerment in professional sectors.
