The Department of Accountancy proudly launched the first session of its workshop series titled “Unlocking Confidence Through English: Improve Yourself Through the Power of Communication”. The session was held on 22nd May 2026 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at MFLT 03, Faculty of Management and Finance.
The session was facilitated by Dr. Deepal A. Guruge, Head of the Department of Accountancy, Faculty of Management and Finance. With his strong academic background and dedication to student development, Dr. Guruge guided participants through meaningful discussions and interactive learning activities aimed at strengthening their communication confidence. The program created an encouraging space for students to explore effective communication practices while improving their language proficiency. The first session sets a positive tone for future engagements, fostering enthusiasm among students to further develop their language skills and embrace English communication with greater confidence and clarity.
