Industry Readiness Workshop: Business Etiquette & Future Ready Workforce

The Circle of Accounting, Department of Accountancy, Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Ruhuna, in collaboration with the Chartered Institute of Professional Managers (CPM) Sri Lanka, hosted an enriching professional development session titled "Business Etiquette & Future Ready Workforce" under the Career Nexus initiative — Gateway to Professional Excellence.
The session was held on 3rd June 2026, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at MFLT 02, Faculty of Management and Finance, bringing together students eager to sharpen their professional edge in today's competitive landscape
The distinguished resource person, Mr. Danuka Sirinama, Co-Founding Director of the Future Lanka Research & Development Foundation, Communicator, Philanthropist, and Motivational Speaker, delivered an insightful and engaging presentation covering the fundamentals of business etiquette and the key competencies required to thrive in the evolving world of work.
The event served as a valuable platform for students to gain practical knowledge, build professional awareness, and align themselves with the expectations of the modern workforce — equipping them to step confidently into their future careers.
