Tech talk on digital marketing

The Department of Management and Entrepreneurship, Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Ruhuna, successfully organized an insightful online academic session titled "TECH TALK: How to Use Digital Marketing Tools" on 14th May 2026 from 06:30 p.m. onwards via the Zoom virtual platform. Conducted under the Business Technology and Entrepreneurship specialization framework, this interactive webinar was designed for 2000-level and 3000-level undergraduates to sharpen their professional edge and level up their digital capabilities.

The session was delivered by guest speaker Mr. Prasad D Wilagama, an AI Researcher, Digital Marketing Strategist, and Tech Educator who specializes in digital innovation, multimedia, and content strategy. Drawing from his strong background in digital transformation and visual storytelling, the speaker provided practical insights into mastering the digital landscape. The session focused extensively on exploring how aspiring entrepreneurs can utilize digital marketing tools to transform business operations and discover the secrets to ultimate marketing success.

By participating in this immersive virtual webinar, the 3000-level students gained critical exposure to practical tools and creative skills needed to thrive in today's digital landscape. The training successfully bridged the gap between theoretical classroom concepts and real-world execution, empowering future entrepreneurs to lead the way and confidently master the digital tools that define modern business success.
