Workshop on Professional Presence, Etiquette and Communication at Work

The Circle of Accounting of the Department of Accountancy, Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Ruhuna, successfully organized a professional development workshop on “Professional Presence: Etiquette and Communication at Work” on the 17th of July 2025 at MFLT 08, under the guidance of Ms. Madhavi Ariyasena, Lecturer in the Department of Accountancy
The session was conducted by Ms. Kokila Perera, an internationally certified trainer (UK), certified life coach, NLP practitioner, motivational speaker, and CEO of Elitz International Pvt Ltd. With her extensive expertise in human talent development, Ms. Perera delivered an engaging and insightful program focusing on professional etiquette, workplace communication, and building a strong personal presence.
The workshop was designed to empower undergraduates with the essential professional skills required for career success. Participants were guided on effective communication techniques, workplace behavior, and strategies to present themselves confidently in professional environments. The interactive nature of the session allowed students to actively engage with the resource person, enhancing their understanding of the practical application of these skills in both academic and professional settings.
